A Routine Just for You...
I offer private yoga sessions to help students who are unsure of how to approach yoga with an injury, illness or even those who are in the midst of a major life transition. The students who have benefited from these sessions are those who can't attend group classes, and/or feel intimidated by the class experience for any reason. These sessions are intended to be an opportunity to practice yoga while moving at your own pace, receiving feedback on your technique, and performing routines that have been designed just for you. In some cases, students have chosen to have their session with another person (e.g. private sessions can be for individuals or couples.)
Additionally, I offer private sessions teaching Ayurvedic practices in the Wise Earth tradition for students interested in integrating yogic nutrition, recipes and immune-building routines into their lives. Included in these practices are how to perform self-massage with oil (abyhanga), how to make a nutritious oil for cooking (ghee-making), how to integrate spices in your cooking (masala-mixing), and other seasonal routines (dinacharya.)
