About Classes
![]() I aim to provide a practice that leaves you feeling like you've come home -- becoming your body, breathing on a mat, completely in the moment. You will practice moving energy through your body using a combination of slow-flowing and longer-held postures, breathwork and guided relaxation. I love to reflect on natural cycles (like the time of year and phase of the moon) when selecting these practices. I believe that what happens in the classroom should honor and balance what is happening outside of that sanctuary. I have studied many styles of yoga including Classical Hatha, Restorative, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Bikram and Kundalini in addition to studying the traditional Indian medicine system of Ayurveda. I bring elements from each of these teachings into my classes.

"Hannah does an excellent job assessing the needs of the students taking her classes with regard to past problems or current injuries. She demonstrates the poses for those of us new to yoga or just coming back. After having been away from yoga for two years, I have learned something new in each of the sessions I have taken with her." - Carolyn Gakenheimer
