A Powerful Pause: 12-Day Stress Cleanse to impact your daily rest habits
“I’m just so tired.” We hear this phrase again and again in our lives. You’ve heard of (and perhaps participated) in a food cleanse to work with your dietary habits? This is a stress cleanse to address the habits of not resting and taking shortcuts with ourselves that often lead to a pervasive background sense of fatigue.
Join Hannah Leatherbury and Eliza King for this 12-day tele/e-course (starting with a group call). Participation will offer you the opportunity to pause and assess the role of rest in your daily life and give you powerful tools and resources to integrate short but regular renewal practices as you go along. We all know that when we rest well, our bodies have more energy to do what we want to do, and our minds have the capacity to focus and absorb more of the enormous amount of information we receive. Consistent rest is also a key factor in feeling emotionally balanced and calm as we move through our day.
This course will provide you with resources you can use during the Cleanse and beyond including:

Why Cleanse with Hannah and Eliza?
Eliza King is a certified coach who specializes in stress management and work/life balance issues. She is also a registered yoga teacher and leads guided meditation/yoga nidra classes in the DC area. She is legally blind since birth and has learned over time the value of slowing down, going at your own pace, and looking deeply below the surface. She is dedicated to sharing and practicing these insights with her clients and students to help transform the quality of their lives.
Hannah Leatherbury is a registered yoga teacher and certified yoga therapist who specializes in getting people “out of their heads” by bringing them home to their bodies and their breath. She teaches ongoing classes in the Maryland/DC area and also provides one-on-one sessions. Hannah is an identical twin and spent decades studying dance prior to finding yoga. She has always valued the support and reflections given by other people, as well as the power of the body and breath to transform each of us. She received her training in Classical Hatha yoga through Kashi Atlanta urban ashram (Atlanta, GA) in June 2009 and has a B.A. in Creative Writing from Goucher College.
