At some point, your yoga/meditation practice will ask more of you. You might find yourself yearning to study and try out new techniques and practices. Or you might want to maintain some sort of daily practice in your home, but you've been unable to make it happen. Maybe you have had challenges during your practice or interesting experiences that you want feedback from a teacher about.
One-on-one mentoring will inspire you towards deeper understanding and more consistent practice.

My Background:
I initially practiced yoga/meditation because it felt like an escape (more about my journey.) I continued to practice because it taught me to run towards myself rather than away. Mentoring feels like a natural way to share years of study and practice with those who are on the same path.
Mentoring Strategy:
During a mentoring session, we focus on your desires to grow and expand your understanding of yoga/meditation and your personal practice. It's important to understand that during our sessions, you will become your own guide. My presence as a mentor is not to be your guru/expert, nor to be your therapist, but instead to remind you of your worth and to collaborate on strategies and practices that you are ready for.
You may find that you get everything you are looking for from one session. You may find that you are supported by quarterly check-ins. You can define how many desired outcomes you have for mentoring and we'll address your top concerns in order of your preference. There is nothing binding in our work together. My goal is to support your self-confidence and encourage your growth so that my guidance is a supplement to your own wisdom.
Schedule and Costs:
Mentoring sessions done by phone/FaceTime/Skype last between 45-60 minutes. Typical sessions include a guided meditation and/or movement practice, conversation about your current yoga/meditation practice, suggestions/assignments for ongoing practice, plus a follow up email from me. A session can be scheduled online (button below) and cost is $100 per session.* Multiple mentoring sessions (3 or more) purchased at one time for a discount, email me about this option.
If you live in the DC-metro area and prefer to have sessions in your home, I provide a 60-75-minute in-person session which includes a guided meditation and/or movement practice, conversation about your current yoga/meditation practice, suggestions/assignments for ongoing practice, plus a follow up email from me. Sessions can be scheduled from this page and are $125 per session.* Multiple in-person sessions purchased at one time (3 or more) for a discount, email me about this option.
*If you are a full-time yoga teacher or under financial constraints, additional payment options are possible. Email me your circumstances and we'll discuss further.
