We can cultivate courage by meeting suffering with a caring and detached awareness. In this practice, we counter reactions to difficulty that lead us to distract/numb ourselves and to over-consume/burn out. During the 15-minute practice, you will learn a breathing technique to anchor within your own body and how to offer up any suffering that you do not know what to do with. You may be seated or lying down for the practice. The practice concludes with a chime.

Thanks Hanna, This reminds me that I need to sit and be still and take a mental time out each and every day. So beautiful.

Thank you Hannah I've shared this with a client who will benefit I'm sure, also I love hearing your voice - any chance you would record a long yoga Nidra practice? I'm sure many would find it lovely to lulled into a meditative sleep with your calm voice.

Thank you Penny. I am going to be working on some longer yoga nidra practices for sleep and deep rest. I do have one 23-minute yoga nidra practice available. It was recorded live in Portugal and natural sounds -- a rushing stream and birds -- are present. http://www.hannahleatherbury.com/audio/yoga-nidra-with-sounds-of-nature
